How do I apply for a job at Room Six?
Room Six are always looking for intelligent, hard working and enthusiastic staff. We advise that you get in contact with the venue and provide a great CV, it will be put on file and we will get in contact if the application is successful and a suitable vacancy arises.
I've lost something in the club; do you have a lost property department?
In the event of you losing an item at Room Six, please call the office to check to see if your item has been found. It can take a day or so for items to be retrieved, so if it can't be found immediately, it may still turn up.
However, Room Six cannot take any responsibility for items lost in the venue - if it is too valuable to lose, don't bring it to a club! Items found in the club, or left in the cloakroom, will be kept for a period of 3 months. After this, they will be donated to charity. You have been warned!
What is the dress code?
Room Six operates a casual/Smart dress code. If you'd like to check if a particular item of clothing is allowed - please call the office between 10am-6pm.
What are the age restrictions?
The Majority of our Live Music Gigs, the age restriction is 14+ years, however under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult. The After Parties and Club Nights are usually for 18+ years ONLY, unless stated otherwise.
Should I bring photographic ID?
Yes, if you think you look under 18 or that we'll ask you to show us some. Please also note that photographic idea is only accepted such as Passports and driving licenses, NUS Cards are not proof of ID.
Can I come to the venue and buy physical tickets or call up and pay over the phone?
Yes, we have a box office, but if the show hasn't sold out you can buy them at the door.
We leave our online tickets on sale until 4.00pm on the night of a show, after that, assuming we've any left; you can pay when you come in.
Do you serve food?
No sorry.
Do you take credit cards?
Not at the moment, there is a cash point next door.
I'm a promoter. How much does it cost to hire the room?
That depends on who you are, what you want to do and when you want to do it. Contact us and we can talk about it.
I'm a photographer and I want to shoot the bands.
Contact us before hand about it; please don't assume you can come into the venue and start taking photographs without our permission.
Can I bring in my own drink into the venue?
No.

What are the set times for the Bands & DJs?
For various reasons we are unable to confirm set times. Please make sure you are down early to avoid disappointment.
What time do you open?
We open at different times depending on the event; therefore please check the listings for door times.
